What won't I find in the hotel?
No lift / elevator, and no wheelchair access or accessible rooms – due to our historic grade II listed building status, unfortunately it was not possible to adapt this small building to include these. Staying here is like living in a traditional four level townhouse with stairs, just like many London townhouses and the other neighbours on our street. Walking up stairs keeps us fit and healthy. We also offer assistance to help you carry luggage.

No restaurant or bar – we are a small hotel with basic facilities therefore not able to offer this, however we are conveniently located in a great area with plenty of cafes, restaurants and pubs just across the road from the hotel.

No gym – we are a small hotel with basic facilities therefore not able to offer this, however we are located within 4 minutes walk of Hyde Park which is great for walking and running and doing outdoor exercise, and there are gyms and yoga studios nearby. Please read “Facilities” page for more info.

What won't I find in the room?
By focusing on just giving you the basic essentials we can keep our pricing in check for this prestigious central location.

No safe – however Reception has a safe if you would like to lock anything away.

No toothbrush, no toothpaste, no slippers, no bathrobe – however should you need any of these things they can all be found within 5 minutes walk from the hotel.

Iron, extra pillows, and blankets are all available on request from Reception.

Do all rooms have private/ en-suite bathrooms?

Shower or both.
All rooms are en-suite with a private toilet and shower in the rooms.

Can I open window in my room?
Yes all rooms have a window and all the windows can open. The openings are restricted so you cannot fully open, in accordance with UK health & safety.
Do you have interconnection rooms?
No, but if you are travelling with friends or family, please put in a request and we will try to keep you as close as possible although we cannot guarantee this. Some room types also do not exist on the same floor. We only have on average 3 rooms per floor.
Can I have a Triple bedroom with 3 separate beds?
No, all triple rooms have two beds: one double and one single – they are designed for 2 parents and 1 child.

If you are three adults and would like 3 separate beds, you need to book the Quadruple room.

Do you have rooms on the Lower Ground floor?
Yes we have rooms on every floor including the Lower Ground or basement level, like in most traditional London townhouses and like everyone else on our street.

This is normal for London so you will see many lower ground level apartments in the traditional areas of the city, including in our area of Paddington.

The benefit is that there are only a few stairs to get to this level.

The Ground floor is a few steps up from street level, which means the lower ground is not as low as you might think.

All our rooms, wherever they are located, are of the same high standard and all rooms have a window.

Can my child share my bed?
Children under the age of 2 years can share the bed with their parents. For children above 2 years of age, you will have to book an extra bed for them (bigger room).
Can you put extra bed in the room?
We can only add an extra mattress in some of the rooms at an extra cost. Please contact the hotel for the availability and price.
Can you put a baby cot in the room?
Yes, subject to availability. Price is £15 per night. Please inform the hotel before your arrival date.
Do you offer Airport transfers?
Yes, we offer private taxis to and from any airport. Please fill in this form to receive a competitive price for Airport Pickup.

If you also wish to book hotel to airport return journey, this can be arranged at the hotel.
